VACANCY TITLE: Junior Officer: Grant Management
TEAM: Development
LOCATION: Rotterdam, the Netherlands
LEVEL OF EFFORT: 40 hours per week
START DATE: As soon as possible

INDICATIVE SALARY RANGE:
40,000 - 50,000 EUR annual gross base salary

Job Purpose

Support the team on a range of development related activities, including grant management, grant reporting, funding partner events and engagements with existing and prospect funding partners and other development support activities as needed.

Responsibilities

Grant and Contract Management:

·       Support review of funding partner grant/contract agreement, due diligence processes, including kick off meetings of agreements once funds secured

·       Support the development of templates and coordination of funding partner reporting development processes

·       Support the development and maintenance of grant management tracker

 

Events, Engagement and Stakeholder Relations:

·       Contribute to identifying, cultivating, and managing strong and lasting relationships with key GCA funding partners and implementing partners, supporting the Director of Development and team

·       Support the development fundraising materials, including presentations, fact sheets, and brochures

·       Maintain an updated calendar of engagement opportunities (summits, events, webinars, etc.) and assist the Director of Development in organising related GCA engagements

·       Support funding partner briefings and related materials to inform meetings and engagements at CEO and technical level

·       Support the ongoing tracking of engagements with key GCA stakeholders, updating engagement tracker and contact lists as needed 

 

Other Development Team Support as Required: Desk research and intelligence gathering, concept note and proposal development

·       Gather intelligence on existing and prospect funding partners, including strategy, priorities, and policies, as well as funding opportunities, and other related news.

·       Support the development of pipeline of funding opportunities  

·       Contribute to funding partner prospect desk research, and strategy development processes

·       Assist in the development of concept notes, and proposals to existing and prospect funding partners

Job requirements

Required skills and expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in a related field

  • 0-2 years of experience
