VACANCY TITLE: HR Intern

LOCATION: Rotterdam, the Netherlands 

TERM:  Six months 

INTENSITY: 32 - 40 hours per week

ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible

COMPENSATION: 500 Euros per month - gross

We are excited to offer an HR internship opportunity for a motivated and passionate intern interested in attaining practical experience in the field of HR. As an HR intern, you'll actively engage in diverse Recruitment and HR administrative tasks, gaining valuable all-round HR experience and contributing to GCA's overall success. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to participate in various HR projects to contribute to the HR department’s impact and overall employee engagement.

Job requirements

Your mission

  • Help post vacancies, screen resumes and schedule interviews, gaining exposure to the recruitment process.
  • Participate in interviews, gaining valuable insights into candidate evaluation.
  • Support the onboarding of new staff to understand the complexities of hiring staff globally.
  • Learn how to create and manage employee files, contracts and other relevant documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Learn to maintain organized and up-to-date reports and dashboards.
  • Assist and support in HR Projects such as salary benchmark and the implementation of HR tools.

Your profile

  • You’re recently graduated in or currently studying Human Resources, Business administration or a related field.
  • You have a strong interest in HR and a desire to learn about various HR topics.
  • Since you will be working within HR, you need to be able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Accuracy and a strong attention to details are vital.
  • You bring a positive attitude, are adaptable and proactive
  • You're fluent in English
  • You're looking for a 6 - month (or longer) internship.
  • You're based in the Netherlands
